Atelier Medica is designed to maintain its active benefits for 2-3 years with typical use, assuming 1-2 washes per month. During this time, the infused actives remain at peak effectiveness. Beyond this period, lab testing shows a very gradual decrease with the effectiveness remaining at approximately 60-70%. Thanks to the bacteria-resistant and self-cleaning properties of Atelier Medica, it requires significantly less frequent washing, helping to preserve its active benefits for longer.

CLEANING
Silk with infused silver ions requires far less washing than other fabrics because of it's anti-bacterial qualities. Hand wash in cold water or machine wash on the most delicate setting in a ‘silk-only’ load. Turn pillowcases inside out and do not use bleach or a fabric softener. If hand washing, use a mild detergent. Gently massage the fabric for one minute to activate dirt removal and then leave to soak for the next four minutes. Rinse in fresh cold water.

DRYING
Silk doesn't require wringing out. Instead, gently squeeze or blot the excess moisture away with your hands or a white towel. Lay flat or hang in the shade until dry, away from the sun. Ironing and steaming is optional – but keep it on the lowest setting.

STORING
A cool and dry place is always best for storage. Neatly fold and store in your Clementine Sleepwear box.
