Atelier Medica is designed to maintain its active benefits for 2-3 years with typical use, assuming 1-2 washes per month. During this time, the infused actives remain at peak effectiveness. Beyond this period, lab testing shows a very gradual decrease with the effectiveness remaining at approximately 60-70%. Thanks to the bacteria-resistant and self-cleaning properties of Atelier Medica, it requires significantly less frequent washing, helping to preserve its active benefits for longer.

CLEANING
Silver ion infused silk requires far less washing than other fabrics because of it's anti-bacterial qualities. When you do wash it, we recommend lightly hand washing in cold water and a mild detergent or machine wash on the most delicate setting. If hand washing, use a mild detergent. Gently massage the fabric for one minute to activate dirt removal and then leave to soak for the next four minutes. Rinse in fresh cold water.

DRYING
Silk doesn't require wringing out. Instead, gently squeeze or blot the excess moisture away with your hands or a white towel. Lay flat or hang in the shade until dry, away from the sun. Ironing or steaming is optional – but keep it on the lowest setting.

STORING
A cool and dry place is always best for storage. Neatly fold and store in your Clementine Sleepwear box.

Our hair bonnets have been tailored for larger adult size heads of all hair types. The adjustable strap allows flexibility to fit smaller head sizes, but keep in mind, we don't size our bonnets for children or those with very short hair, or for extremely thick and long hair (we have new products coming soon for those hair types). Our bonnets are very popular and the highest quality - they fit most heads very well. However, for sanitary reasons, we cannot restock and resell a bonnet once it has been tried on - and for this reason, we cannot accept returns on bonnets which have been worn or tried on.
